All-Star Speakers and Trainers Announced

UNITY is excited to announce Steven Paul Judd and Tatanka Means will be featured guest speakers at the 2017 National UNITY Conference set for July 6-10, 2017 in Denver, Colorado!
Steven Paul Judd is Kiowa and Choctaw from Oklahoma. He is a filmmaker, director, screenwriter, writer of fiction and visual artist and has served as a staff writer for Disney’s XD Comedy Series, “Zeke and Luther.” His filmmaking and art have captured international attention. His mural “War Paint” can be seen at historic Indian Alley in downtown Los Angeles.

Tatanka Means is Oglala Lakota, Omaha, and Navajo from Chinle, Arizona. He is an award-winning actor, stand-up comedian and motivational speaker with his most recent movie credits including season one of the new series The Son currently airing Saturday’s on AMC, Saints & Strangers for the National Geographic Channel, A Million Ways to Die in The West with director Seth Macfarlane, and in his role as “Wolf” in Tiger Eyes, based on the novel by acclaimed author, Judy Blume. He can also be seen guest starring in the second season of Banshee on Cinemax, NBC’s The Night Shift and in the newly released series, Graves, with Nick Nolte on the EPIX Channel.

UNITY’s all-star trainers, Robert Johnston (Choctaw), Juanita Toledo (Jemez Pueblo), and Marcus “emcee one” Guinn (Osage and Potawatomi) are also returning to provide expert training and share motivational messages at the national conference.
