UNITY Youth Invited to Participate in the National Indian Health Board Advisory Committee
The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is seeking Native youth leaders to become a part of a Tribal Youth Health Advisory Committee (TYHAC). This is a great opportunity for UNITY youth to become involved in issues facing Native youth in their communities.
The TYHAC will be comprised of youth representatives from all twelve IHS service areas to provide a comprehensive perspective of tribal public health issues. These tribal youth leaders will advise the NIHB and staff of the public health issues facing youth in Indian Country.
