Kyle Doney: Kyle is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and is from the Panther
Clan.
Kyle graduated from FSU in 2007 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminology. Currently, Mr. Doney resides in Hollywood, FL where he works for the Seminole Tribes’s Native Learning Center. As the Deputy Executive Director, Mr. Doney assumes the responsibility for directing the overall initiatives of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native Learning Center. In this role he works to provide free trainings and technical assistance as it relates to the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act of 1996 to Native Americans throughout Indian Country. These trainings promote affordable housing activities to develop, maintain, and operate affordable housing in safe and healthy Native communities; ensure better access to private mortgages for Native American Tribes and their Tribal members; coordinate activities to further economic and community development for Native American Tribes and their Tribal members; and promote the development of private capital markets in Indian Country and allow such markets to operate and grow.
Since 2008, Kyle has served on the Florida State University Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors. He works to build their network of alumni and friends and sustain meaningful relationships on behalf of the Florida State University.
