Learn with Alumni: Best Practices in Youth Council Development Webinar Nov 12th

Join UNITY for the Best Practices in Youth Council Development Webinar happening Thursday, November 12, 2020, 12:00 pm PST//3:00 pm EST. Guest presenter Ginger Martin (Gila River Indian Community – Akimel O’odham), is the Owner of Sunbird Enterprises, LLC., and UNITY Alumnus, Original UNITY Earth Ambassador (1990).  This webinar will explore how Youth Councils can ensure that youth have access to: Ongoing relationships with tribal leaders; Safe places with structured youth activities during the non-school hours; Training and Organizational support;  Opportunities to give back through community service; Offer input into the issues affecting their peers, provide guidance and feedback in tribal policy formation; and serve as effective spokespeople for the tribe.
