Greg Mendoza is the new Governor of the Gila River Indian Community, which is headquartered in Sacaton, AZ. Greg, who is a UNITY alumnus and a current member of the UNITY Council of Trustee, began his new duties as governor after being sworn in on Janurary 1, 2012.
Greg occupied a number of leadership roles within his tribal community prior to his campaign and election. He has also been involved as a youth leader within UNITY and a long time supporter of UNITY and Native youth.
