In attendance was UNITY Staff member Jared Massey, who is also a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and one of the founders of the White Mountain Apache Youth Council.  Through our presence at the youth conference, youth received first-hand information about the UNITY organization and leadership training from staff member Jared Massey. Massey focused on the importance of culture and identity, encouraging youth to continue on a path of sobriety and service.

The final day of the conference featured a Back to School Bash. The event was once again sponsored by various tribal departments and featured live music and entertainment.

UNITY commends the hard work and dedication of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and its youth council on this tremendous accomplishment.  The invitation to assist with the youth conference was our privilege; we appreciate the White Mountain Apache and youth council for celebrating and continuing to spread the spirit of UNITY.
