Hello, My name is “Iiwaaxiasshiash.” When translated from crow to English, it means “use as an example.” My government name is O’Shay Birdinground. I come from the great Apsaalooke (Crow) Tribe, located in southeastern Montana. I’m currently entering the last year of my bachelor’s degree program, in which I’m studying economics and political science. I have spent years being active within the University of Montana and abroad, participating in political rallies, organizing student government, etc. My hope for this position is to continue to build on the foundations that my little brother Watson Whitford has built.
