Youth Win Big at RES

The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development hosted a Native Youth Business Plan Competition that awarded one high school and one college team $7,500 each at their Annual RES Conference. The winning high school team was Latte for the Oyate from Wolf Point High School in Wolf Point, MT; a charity coffee cart turned into a high school business enterprise.

The college team are members of the Tribal Youth Ambassador’s program of the California Indian Museum & Cultural Center in Santa Rosa. They won for Acorn Energy Bites, which is a natural, native-made energy food.

A big thanks to First Nations Development Institute for partnering with the National Center to host this competition!
