Northwest Rep. Mazie Countryman had the opportunity to volunteer at the 7th annual Idaho State University Indigenous Peoples Day event on October 9, 2023. She handed out goody bags at the event and also hosted a workshop talking about being a Native American full-time college student.
Mazie spoke about her current role of being on the UNITY executive committee and what it entails. Toward the end of this event, everyone had a chance to come together to watch a film about how every day is Indigenous Peoples Day.
