As we acknowledge September as National Suicide Prevention Month, join us in shining light on the importance of choosing life and learning to live in wellness. While also sharing stories of inspiration and hope.
We are calling upon our relatives in Indian Country to share a message of hope and resilience with our Native Youth.
It could be a simple quote, paragraph, or your personal story. It is our hope that we help our relatives understand that they are not alone and there is hope every day. Please submit your story, name, tribe, to UNITY’s Jared Ivins-Massey at j.massey@unityinc.org. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please list tribe and age.
We encourage you to take a moment of your day and take four deep breaths and reflect on your blessings.
If you need to talk, call The Lifeline which provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention, and crisis resources for you or your loved ones. 1-800-273-8255.
