News from Native California’s Heyday Berkeley Roundhouse Program, in partnership with the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, is accepting applications for a yearlong paid writing internship.
The full-time, remote position is based in California and pays $25.50 per hour. The internship is designed for Indigenous students nearing college graduation, recent graduates and early-career writers within the first two years of their professional writing careers.
Applicants should have a strong interest in California Indigenous communities, storytelling and Native-centered journalism or publishing.
The deadline to apply is September 15, 2025.
