Manahuu Ii-na-nia-nai George Brown. George is a dedicated student at Bishop Union High School and a proud member of his tribal community. Throughout his high school journey, George has taken advantage of many opportunities, including participating in Berkeley’s STEM program and founding several student clubs. One of his current projects is running an after-school Dungeons & Dragons program, where he fosters creativity, teamwork, and leadership among his peers.

George is deeply involved in Indigenous community events. He regularly attends gatherings such as the Walk for Life and contributes to his town’s local parade by designing and creating a float dedicated to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). These efforts demonstrate his commitment to raising awareness and honoring the voices of Native women and the wider community.

Motivated by the legacies of his siblings, Katlynn and Ashley Johnston, and in loving memory of his late brother Carlos Gonzales, George is running for office to continue their footsteps in leadership. His goal is to strengthen support for Pacific Native youth and to be a strong representative for his people.
