Are you a Native youth artist with a passion for design? Here’s your chance to showcase your creativity! UNITY is inviting Native youth ages 14 to 24 to submit their original artwork for the 2025 National UNITY Conference Logo Contest. The winning design will be used on promotional materials for this summer’s National UNITY Conference in San Diego, CA and will be enhanced by a professional graphic artist. The first-place winner will receive a $250 cash prize!
Reflecting the 2025 National UNITY Conference Theme
This year’s conference theme is:
“Voices of H.O.P.E.: Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities”
Tagline: “Heartfelt Conversations. Open Dialogue. Promoting Resources. Encouraging Change.”
The theme highlights the power of Native youth to create positive change in their communities by using their voices, leadership, and meaningful discussions to inspire action.
Design Inspiration: Cultural Imagery & Southern California Influence
We encourage artists to incorporate Southern California Indigenous designs and teachings into their logo submissions. Consider using symbolism that reflects Indigenous California Culture or landmarks in the San Diego area. Make sure to research to be culturally respectful.
While we encourage Southern California influences, this contest is open to all Native youth nationwide!
Submission Guidelines
- The logo can be hand-drawn or created digitally
- Submissions must be original artwork
- All artwork must be submitted via email to: a.mitchell@unityinc.org
- Submission Deadline: Friday, March 21, 2025
