The Tulsa Native Youth Board proudly participated in the annual Tulsa Native American Day celebration at Dreamkeepers Park, joining over 200 attendees in honoring the strength, resilience, and beauty of Native cultures. As part of the day’s festivities, the Youth Board walked in the parade, carrying their banner with pride behind the Tulsa Indian Education float.

This act of representation was more than just symbolic—it was a powerful demonstration of Indigenous youth visibility, leadership, and community connection. By walking together under their banner, the Tulsa Native Youth Board affirmed their commitment to uplifting Native voices and continuing cultural traditions for generations to come.

Their presence at the event reflected the theme of social wellness, as they actively engaged with the broader community, celebrated cultural identity, and strengthened intergenerational bonds. The Youth Board’s involvement sent a clear message: Native youth are here, they are proud, and they are leading with purpose.

As the Tulsa Native American Day continues to grow, the Tulsa Native Youth Board remains a vital part of ensuring youth are included, visible, and supported in all aspects of community celebration and advocacy.
