The Center for Native American Youth’s Democracy is Indigenous campaign is offering micro-grant funding to support Native youth ages 11–24 who want to make a positive impact in their communities.

Through this opportunity, Native youth can apply for funding to create community action projects such as community feeds, food drives, educational events, research projects, civic engagement activities, or other efforts that improve the lives of community members. Grants are available up to $6,000, with no more than 10% used for overhead.

To apply, youth must complete a project proposal form that includes personal information, a project idea, a budget narrative, and social media details. Applications are funded on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Projects must remain bipartisan. Funding cannot be used to support a political party, and applicants may not incentivize voter registration or voting.

Native youth who have an idea to serve their community are encouraged to apply and bring their vision to life.

For questions or support with a project idea, contact CNAY at cnayinfo@aspeninstitute.org or Katy Stewart at katy.stewart@aspeninstitute.org.
